Cybill Shepherd cast in Lifetime TV movie

LOS ANGELES: Cybill Shepherd has joined the cast of an upcoming Lifetime original movie.The actress will co-star with Jennifer Love Hewitt in the as-yet-untitled production, playing a body waxer at a woman's salon who is stunned to discover that her former Texas homecoming-queen daughter (Hewitt) is working as a prostitute to pay the bills.
Shepherd has been active in TV roles during recent years, appearing on ABC's "Eastwick," Showtime's "The L Word" and CBS' "Criminal Minds." Hewitt also is an executive producer on the film, which is inspired by a true story.
